      For five years, Parkway Products’ Plant 2 in Saltillo, Coah., has housed a broad market footprint, which currently includes electrical infrastructure, medical & healthcare devices and telecommunications equipment and automotive related projects.

      The 110,000 square foot plant supports the company’s growing needs for injection molding, compression molding, painting, electronic assembly and other processes for its commercial customers. It currently produces commodity and engineering grade injection molded thermoplastics and compression molded thermosets with assembly capabilities for all items. It averaged 120 employees during the last year, but that number could easily double with expansion. Plans are currently in the works to expand the plant’s current injection thermoplastic and compression thermoset capabilities.

      “Saltillo’s biggest asset is its people and culture,” says a company spokesman. “The Saltillo plant’s local area is a great asset due to the city’s educational focus. Saltillo also has a wealth of experience to pull from, both internally and from other Parkway Enterprise molding plants.”
