A.E. Petsche Co., Inc. has opened a new
12,000 square foot distribution center in the Las Americas
Industrial Park in Chihuahua, Chih. The move emphasizes A.E.
Petsche’s commitment to position inventory close to its Mexican
customers and is an attempt to better serve demand for military,
aerospace and commercial aviation interconnect components.
Several multi-national aviation OEMs are
already building harnesses in Mexico, with more expected to open
in the next several years. These customers typically encounter
delays in accessing U.S. manufactured interconnect products. A.E.
Petsche’s Chihuahua distribution center will dramatically reduce
the potential for these delays while allowing customers to
reduce in-house inventories.
“With more than 40 years in the business,
we have become experts in Just-In-Time delivery methods,” said
Matt Mullendore, regional sales manager. “This new distribution
center will reduce sluggish delivery times often associated with
international, on-demand delivery systems. No longer will travel
time and customs delays be an issue.”
Since 1966, A.E. Petsche Company has been
recognized as the leading supplier of high-performance
interconnect products and related services. The company operates
offices and warehouses worldwide. Products include wire, cable,
connectors and harness management solutions.
